Vice President Leni Robredo attended this year’s Ligligan Parul or Giant Lantern Festival held annually in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga’s capital, on Saturday, December 14, 2019.

This year’s festival featured 20 feet high lanterns installed with around 10,000 bulbs each intricately crafted by residents from 12 of the 35 barangays in San Fernando City. In 2013, VP Leni, then a Camarines Sur district representative, joined the board of judges in the inter-barangay lantern competition in the city. (OVP)
