Your favorite Central Perk squad is back for an unscripted Reunion Special!

However, before you get your hopes up, this is not going to be a follow-up to the plot. Co-Creator David Crane, during the Friends panel at Tribeca TV Festival, said that there isn’t going to be a continuation after it concluded in 2004: “We did the show we wanted to do. We got it right, and we put a bow on it.”

Even Rachel Green and Record-Breaker Jennifer Aniston herself clarified that this is not going to reboot. She said, “I would love for there to be something, but we don’t know what that something is.” then added, “So we’re just trying. We’re working on something.”

Nevertheless, we’re gonna see them in one frame again! And this time, 6 members of the circle are going to be present (unlike the one where Matthew Perry wasn’t around).

The reunion special will be released on HBO Max, HBO’s streaming platform that is set to debut on May 2020.
