We are now in week five of the enhanced community quarantine and chances are you are already done binge-watching your favorite series or just scrolling through videos on social media just to keep yourself entertained.

As everyone remains at home, ABS-CBN released a slew of digital shows that bring entertainment, kilig, and inspiration. From touching stories of Filipinos amid the COVID-19 outbreak to tips on being thrifty, here are Kapamilya online shows you can try watching while in quarantine:

1. Stay At Home Stories: Mga Kwento ng Taong Bahay (Facebook and YouTube)

Filipinos are greatly affected by the rise of the COVID-19 outbreak, but “Stay At Home Stories: Mga Kwento ng Taong Bahay” is here to shed light on their daily struggles. Led by various Kapamilya artists, the show features sacrifices of everyday Filipinos in a series of heartwarming episodes set to inspire viewers.

Former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate where Jojit Lorenzo played his father, while another “PBB” alum, Hasna Cabral, played a mother who penned a touching message for her children to explain the harsh conditions they are in today in “Yakap.”

2. PILIkula (Facebook, YouTube, and KUMU)

There are times when we wish we have a control over the story of the film we are watching, and “PILIkula” gives you that freedom. It allows fans to select the scenes they want to follow each past episode by casting their votes on KUMU app (kumu.ph/starhunt) for a week. There are two options that fans can choose from; the scene with the most stickers will be uploaded the next day.

For its first completed film, Karina Bautista and Aljon Mendoza starred in “Ghost of the Past,” where they played ex-lovers who accidentally shared a ride and along the way rekindled their love for each other.

3. MNL48 Presents (Facebook and YouTube)

We are used to seeing the members of MNL48 or oshis rocking the stage with their fierce moves and voices, but in “MNL48 Presents,” it is their acting chops that get to shine. Streaming on the Facebook page and YouTube channel of MNL48, the show is also interactive as fans get to decide who among the oshis will star in each episode by voting in the KUMU app.

Ecka Sibug and Sela Guia marked their acting debut in “2020 Vision” as they played two friends who went through the step-by-step process of moving on. Meanwhile, the show’s next episode “I-dol” about a superfan who creates an imaginary perfect idol but encounters problems along the way.

4. Tipid Nation (Facebook and YouTube)

If there is a way that we can cut on our spending, we will surely do it, though not everyone knows exactly how and where to start. This is what “Tipid Nation” is here for: “Resident Diskar-Tito” Yamyam Gucong will teach viewers the tricks in spending money wisely for people’s essential needs like food, clothing, home, transportation, finance, telecomm, and fitness.

5. Team FitFil (ABS-CBN S+A, YouTube)

With the health risk brought by COVID-19, staying healthy and fit is our best weapon to fight the deadly disease. “Team FitFil” will help you be in tiptop shape and shed calories with four minute exercises and dance routines. It is hosted by fitness coaches Jim and Toni Saret and dance coach Mickey Perz. Apart from YouTube, fitness buffs can also catch the show on ABS-CBN S+A daily at 7:30 AM with replays at 3:30 PM.

These online shows add to the long list of digital initiatives of ABS-CBN, the Philippines’ leading media and entertainment company, which is rapidly transitioning into an agile digital company with the biggest online presence among all media companies, and a growing list of digital properties.
