Forty local exhibitors composed of farmers, fisherfolk, and micro, small and medium entrepreneurs (MSMEs) will join the two-day Kadiwa ng Pangulo (KNP) in Antique as part of Labor Day activities.
The KNP on April 30 and May 1 at Evelio B. Javier Freedom Park here will sell cheaper and quality agri-fishery products and other non-food items, Office of the Provincial Agriculturists agri-business and marketing coordinator Betty Baldevia said in an interview on Tuesday.
“There will be fresh vegetables, fruits and other products sold for cheaper prices than consumers could buy in the regular market,” she said.
For joining the event, the Department of Labor and Employment will provide the exhibitors a daily salary of PHP513 under the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers.
The two-day event will be the first KNP in the province this year. (PNA)
