At the age of 22, John Aaron Ramos has already bought two houses simply because of playing today’s popular online game, ‘Axie Infinity.’

Axie Infinity is an NFT-based online video game that is one of the most popular games in the Philippines.

In November 2020 John Aaron started playing Axie’s game where he was a ‘scholar.’ The investment in such a game is huge where the ‘manager’ spends approximately Php100,000 to Php 120,000.

During his interview with the ‘Kapuso mo, Jessica Soho’, a TV magazine program, Ramos plays it two to three hours a day. His income depends on the “small love potion” or SLP he gets. SLP is what they can exchange for actual money. The value of the SLP varies with the movement of the digital currency in the market.

At the time when Ramos was an avid player, the SLP conversion increased, which luckily got a good amount of money. As a result, he has already earned 6 digits and bought a house for his mother and another house for his father.

From being a ‘scholar’ of such a game, he is also a manager who handles his own team. He rented a place where he played with his scholars.

Ramos’s advice is to avoid borrowing just to be a manager and invest in Axie Infinity. He suggested to use the money that can be released because it is a game and not a job that can also go bankrupt or lose.

For Axie aspirant gamers, excessive online gaming has many effects on anyone. While there are benefits to it because of supposedly relieving fatigue or in the case of Ramos who earns a large amount of money, there are also disadvantages to it. Unfortunately, he did not bring her home in tears.
