8. Atypical

Atypical follows Sam, an 18-year old on the autism spectrum, who decides that it’s finally time to find a girlfriend. Due to this decision, Sam’s mother is set out on her own life-changing adventure as her son seeks more independence.

What is diversity if not with the inclusion of mental illnesses? With Sam’s story, we could show compassion and more understanding to people experiencing trouble with their mental health issues.
