Another day, another fact-checking.

It’s only Monday, yet there is a lot happening already with the Taal Volcano eruption and all. From the social media calling out resellers who hoard and overprice the N95 masks to the news that Mayon Volcano is once again on Alert Level 2.

Now before you panic, let us inform you that this is fake news, at least.

To be fair, Mayon Volcano has been on Alert Level 2 since October 2019, whereas it reached Alert Level 4 when it last erupted in January 2018.

Being on Alert Level 2 (a.k.a. Increasing Unrest) means that there is low to moderate seismic activity
