Vice President Leni Robredo made a surprise visit to the Community Mart headquarters in Muntinlupa City Public Market in Alabang, Muntinlupa City on Tuesday, September 22, 2020.

During the visit, VP Leni met the market vendors and tricycle drivers who took part in the program, as well as the members of the Community Mart – Muntinlupa City Public Market team from both the OVP and the local government of Muntinlupa. She also shared with them the best practices from other branches of Community Mart in Pasig City and Quezon City.

VP Leni’s office, in partnership with the Muntinlupa City LGU, launched its Community Mart initiative at the city last August. The Community Mart program is an app-based delivery service that aims to help small market vendors and tricycle drivers affected by the community quarantine in Metro Manila. (Photos by OVP)
