Vice President Leni Robredo spoke at the Istorya ng Pag-asa Special Edition: Community Based Drug Rehabilitation
(CBDR) Summit, held at the Shrine of Our Lady of Grace Parish in Caloocan City on Thursday, January 16, 2020. The summit, which aims to exhibit the best practices of local CBDR programs around the country, is an initiative launched in line with VP Leni’s advocacy for a more humane and health-based approach to the country’s illegal drug problem.
In her remarks, VP Leni underscored the importance of showing a united front in the fight against illegal drugs, and to showcase programs and initiatives that aim to help drug dependents recover from their addiction. (OVP)
