Another Filipino boxer will test the mettle of undefeated Zhong Lui as John Kenan Villaflor faces the Chinese fighter at TSSG Center in Qingdao, China on Saturday (Oct. 26).

Villaflor, the 29-year-old boxer from Negros Oriental, won his last fight via split decision against counterpart Crison Omayao of Bukidnon in Bohol on May 27 this year.

On the other hand, Zhong also triumphed in his last assignment via split decision versus Jess Rhey Waminal of Cebu City at the TSSG Center on Aug. 9, 2019.

The 28-year-old Zhong will try to extend his winning streak to 15 against Villaflor, who will enter the ring with an unimpressive ring record of 8 wins, 5 defeats, and 4 draws.

Before his hard-earned win against Waminal, Zhong, a southpaw, stopped Indonesian Ruben Manakane in the second round to win the vacant World Boxing Association (WBC) Asia Boxing Council Continental super bantamweight title in Chongqing, China on Dec. 23 last year.
