As Netflix brought the cast of “Stranger Things” to Manila via AsiaPOP Comicon 2017, Joe Keery, Dacre Montgomery, Sadie Sink, and Noah Schnapp were interviewed by lucky fans after they showed the teaser of Season 2 exclusive for the audience in the SMX Convention Center, last August 26.
One of the questions asked was who they would want to join as a cast in Stranger Things or to have as cameo, their answers definitely entertained the audience.
Dacre Montgomery who plays the role of Billy said that he’d love to have actor-producer Will Smith who’s called as the “most powerful actor in Hollywood” and is known for his hit movies like the Men in Black Trilogy and Independence Day.
Meanwhile, Joe Keery who portrays the character of Steve Harrington wants Kurt Russell who is a nominee for a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor. Keery himself is an awardee for Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.
On the other hand, the two youngest cast of “Stranger Things” present in APCC, Noah and Sadie, both chose the iconic comedian Will Ferrell who’s known for his starred movie “Step Brothers”. Ferrell has been a nominee for various awards like Emmy and Golden Globe. Noah said that he’s fully aware that the series will be a comedy show if he’s going to take Will Ferrell and said that he’s okay with that making the audience laugh and entertained.
Moreover, Noah, Sadie, Dacre, and Joe were very happy to be a part of Asia POP Comicon 2017. Dacre repeatedly exclaimed “Mahal kita!” and “Salamat!” as he thanks the huge crowd who continues to watch “Stranger Things” and support Netflix.
