Chris Bevington, a 41-year-old UK citizen, worked as the director of global partnerships/business development at Spotify, a popular music streaming app was killed by a terrorist along with three other victims in a tragic attack last April 7, 2017.
Bevington is the man who brought Spotify in the Philippines. Here is the statement of Globe Telecom CEO Ernest Cu who worked with Bevington on the said project.
“All of us at Globe are saddened that Chris Bevington, our longtime partner at Spotify, was one of the victims of the incident in Stockholm. Chris worked with us to bring Spotify to the Philippines and helped change the way Filipinos listen to music. Chris was with his 6-year-old son who he saved from the rampaging lorry. Rest in peace my friend!”
