Streaming platform Netflix has created an official merchandise store where fans can personalize and buy products related to the successful series “Squid Game,” showing exactly how popular the Netflix original series are.
Netflix debuted its own web shop in June, using a tested marketing strategy developed by legacy entertainment firms like Disney.
Even more third-party manufacturers have already produced their own “Squid Game” products, but Netflix was ahead of the game so they had a good lineup of licensed products available less than a month after the show premiered.
Squid Game’s T-shirts featuring the show’s logo is worth PHP 1,773, a shirt with a personalized player number is PHP 2,027, and a customized hoodie with a square, triangle, or circle icon representing the three distinct guard levels including the show’s logo in English or Korean, is PHP 2535.
Netflix’s digital store, on the other hand, only ships to US locations, and there are no “Squid Game” player tracksuits or red guard jumpsuits available.
However, we don’t encourage you to do so, but if you badly need to resort to other third-party ecommerce sites, they also have theirs ready on sale in time for Halloween season.
