Sony Unveils The Fastest SD Card In The History

Sony announced the fastest SD card ever.

The SF-G Series of SD cards are the new Sony offerings to the digital market.

Aside from being so fast, this new line of SD cards can give full data performance at Ultra High Speed II or UHS-II.

SD cards available in the market perform up to 312MB/s. but this new line of Sony SD cards offer a monstrous 300MB speeds

However, these fast SD cards are only available at low capacity storages, from 32GB, 64GB up to 128GB only. Sony clearly states that the new SD cards focus on performance rather than storage capabilities.

“The quick write speed supports maximum performance of digital imaging devices, contributing to longer continuous shooting of high-resolution images with UHS-II supporting cameras,” part of Sony’s announcement.

“It also contributes to a shorter buffer clearing time so users never miss a critical moment.”

SF-G Series of SD Cards will be launched in Spring 2017.
