Philippine conglomerate SM Investments Corporation (SMIC) and its subsidiaries, BDO Unibank, Inc. and SM Prime Holdings, Inc. won 15 awards in the 10th Asian Excellence Awards 2020 of Hong Kong magazine Corporate Governance Asia.

SMIC, BDO and SM Prime were awarded Asia’s Best Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Best Investor Relations (IR) Company.

SMIC, BDO and SM Prime executives were named as Asia’s Best Chief Executive Officers, namely, BDO Chairperson Teresita T. Sy-Coson; SMIC President Frederic C. DyBuncio; BDO President and CEO Nestor V. Tan and SM Prime President Jeffrey C. Lim. Awarded Asia’s Best Chief Financial Officer is Dalmacio D. Martin, BDO Executive Vice President & Treasurer.

Named Best Investor Relations (IR) Professionals were Tim Daniels, IR Consultant for SMIC and Luis S. Reyes, Jr. Vice President of IR & Corporate Planning at BDO.

SMIC and SM Prime were cited for Best Corporate Communications.

The Asian Excellence Awards were designed to recognize the achievements and excellence in management acumen, financial performance, corporate social responsibility, environmental practices and investor relations.
