Messenger Video Chat Upgrades With New Filters and Masks

Facebook is stepping up its game by adding more features to its Messenger video chats. It’s most recent update is all about colourful, and visual filters.

As Messenger posted on its Facebook page, the update contains animated reactions, filters, masks and effects, plus the feature to take screenshots. From being inside the Messenger chat, Facebook emojis are now available as filters for video calls. These new features allow users to creatively react in conversations.

The update also allows basic video editing features where you can adjust color hues and lighting effects through its stylistic filters. The user will be able to check the preview of the filter before sharing it with friends.

Also, users can now easily take screenshots of video chats just by tapping the camera icon and the photos will be automatically saved. This feature saves the users from having to hold multiple buttons to save memorable conversations as photos.
