For 25 years, L’Oreal Philippines hosts its annual L’Oreal Brandstorm, an event that encourages students around the country to think of an innovative campaign and product line for L’Oreal. This year was no less exceptional, with 400 teams in the country alone battling it out to give the best hair-care line for men, as partnered with L’Oreal Men Expert. Eight groups were able to present on April 18 and were given 5-10 minutes to present their own marketing campaign.

But it’s Team Maxim of UP Visayas that snagged first place. With just the Asia-Pacific Regional Finals to compete in on May 5, Team Maxim’s Herna Alpha Tiagan, Genevieve Millan and Jasper Dioco has the chance to be flown to Paris by L’Oreal Philippines. Winning the grand L’Oreal Brandstorm competition in Paris will not only serve an International Brandstorm Champion title but includes a 10,000 Euros cash prize.

“We did not expect this and it’s like all our hard work just paid off. We really wanted to show what we can do. Coming to Manila and as one of the Top 8 was already a really amazing experience, and winning this competition is more than we had ever hoped,” explains Team Maxim’s Genevieve Millan.
