Kelsey Merritt Becomes The First Filipina Model To Walk For Victoria’s Secret

It’s official! Our very own Kelsey Merritt will walk in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2018! Not only that, because she will also be the first Filipina to ever walk in this famous runway show!

Kelsey posted the good news right away on Instagram to celebrate with all of us. “WE DID IT PHILIPPINES!!!!!!” she shared her joy with all to all her fans.

It’s heartwarming to see her reaching a milestone for all aspiring Filipina models out there. “What an honor it is to be the first Filipino to walk in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2018!!!” Kelsey exclaimed in happiness.

This 21-year-old Fil-Am supermodel could not believe that her dreams are all coming true. In a video she posted, she could not contain her happiness upon hearing the big news.

“That moment when your agency @suprememgmt tells you you booked the #VSFashionShow @victoriassecret!!! 😱🙈❤️ The best feeling in the world!!! 💕💕💕,” Kelsey captioned.

Kelsey Merritt also addressed some critics about “not looking Filipino enough” on her recent tweet. It read, “I love my country and I’m proud of where I came from. ❤️”

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show’s details are yet to be announced, but we can expect it around late November or early December.
