On July 7, various K-pop groups came to the Philippines for the Mission I: Super Pop Con 2017 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
K-pop groups such as B.I.G., BTOB, VIXX, Pentagon, B.A.P., B1A4 came to perform in front of their Filipino fans through the said event. Also, K-Pop star 6 runner-up Kriesha Tiu graced the stage to thank her fellow men.
The concert by KIRIN was in partnership with All Access Production and Lumos E&M and with special collaboration with PDP Laban. It aims to spread awareness in creating drug rehabilitation and renewal centers and sites all over the country.
And it seems like Filipinos not only admire these idols, it seems that the k-idols have the same admiration for local stars.
Benji of the group B.I.G. (Boys In Groove) expressed his admiration to our very own Vice Ganda and invited the phenomenal comedian for coffee.
While some of the idols traveled in the country, others made appearances in the local TV shows. B.I.G. met the phenomenal star earlier this week after they appeared on an episode of “It’s Showtime”.
In a press conference ahead the concert, the star asked the reporters if they could deliver the message to the comedian.
Benji stated that he enjoyed his guesting in the show and left a message saying, “To Vice Ganda, it was lovely meeting you and if possible, I would really love to get together and hang out, whether in a party or just get a coffee. Me and the boys, we’re ready for any kind of meeting.”
Meanwhile, Vice Ganda replied to the invitation through his Twitter account.
