The video went viral as Filipinos all over the world shared the big news. It features the iconic Jollibee mascot in front of the new branch, facing a sign showcasing the chain’s world famous Chickenjoy.
The Manhattan branch will be the second to open in the state of New York (the first being in Queens), creating a total of 37 branches in the United States alone and over 1,200 all over the world.
With the amount of Filipinos around the world continuously increasing and spreading farther, we will undoubtedly continue to see more and more Filipino restaurants like Jollibee materialize throughout the globe in the years to come.
