8 Ballin’, a Filipino music group, became an instant hit with their music video entitled “Know Me” which caught the attention of netizens and recently reached 4.9 million in 10 days after its premiere on June 18.

Netizens went crazy hearing these two words: “Pash, Pash.” The song was originally produced by zp3nd and dominated social media namely: Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok.

Over the past few days, the song ranked as one of the most searches on Google trends. “Know Me” received a number of mixed reactions from netizens as they couldn’t decipher the lyrics.

However, Filipinos who are quick-witted have released their version of imitations. A netizen posted a comment on the music video spoofing the famous Dexter’s Laboratory meme saying, “I love your Filipino accent, say it again: Oshinamiyona pashpash.”

Even YouTube has erroneously captioned the Filipino lyrics in Vietnamese because of its inaudible sound.

Many have said that the group has succeeded in their marketing strategy. Also, this group has created several original kinds of music from the past 3 years. They’re originated from Rizal with members Harris “R!S” Reguy, Jimm “Ya’akov” Andres, JJ “Supboi K” Kais, Geo “Ego” Torzar, and Vincent “Pray” Dasalla.

As of this writing, the group has 65.7K subscribers on YouTube and 14.8K followers on Facebook.
