Google WiFi Is Now Available In The Philippines

Thanks to Google’s partnership with PLDT, Filipinos can now experience Google’s premier router system in their homes.

Google announced Tuesday, that Filipinos can avail of the Google WiFi router through PLDT’s Google WiFi Plan. The Philippines will be the fourth country in Asia to be introduced to Google WiFi, after Singapore, Hong Kong, and Japan.

As a mesh-capable Wi-Fi router, Google Wi-Fi can be set up at different points around your home to ensure a strong Wi-Fi signal no matter where you might be in the house.

Google WiFi provides a simpler and easier way to set up the system than other traditional routers. The Google WiFi app provides step-by-step instructions on how you can set up Google WiFi, without the need for a technician.

The Google WiFi app can also let you see which devices are connected to the network, and how much bandwidth they’re taking up. You can also making speeds on your device faster by switching it to a Priority Device.

Google WiFi units can be ordered from PLDT starting June 26.
