“FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” remained as the most watched program in the country and brought action to more Filipinos last Monday (Jan 29), beating its new rival show in national TV ratings.
The series recorded a national TV rating of 40.2%, or double that of “Sherlock Jr.’s” pilot episode that only garnered 19.4%, according to data from Kantar Media. Netizens were also hooked on the thrilling scenes in the Kapamilya series as the show joined the list of trending topics on Twitter and earned thousands of tweets.
In the episode, Cardo (Coco Martin) got emotional after getting a glimpse of his family and his wife Alyana (Yassi Pressman), after having been separated from them for a long time. However, he might live away from his family for a bit longer as he continues with his mission, now that his friend Bruno (Janno Gibbs) is in the hands of Sen. De Silva’s (Joko Diaz) troop.
This makes Cardo more determined to expose the senator’s involvement in the country’s drug selling operations.
Will Cardo be able to save Bruno in time?
