A councilor here is planning to create a Facebook page that will encourage netizens to file complaints against abusive tricycle and e-trike drivers in this resort island.
Malay Councilor Maylynn Graf, chair of the Committee on Environment, said posted complaints would be referred to the respective enforcement agencies.
Graf said that she has thought of creating a page after receiving complaints especially during the Yuletide season.
“To put an end to the abuses of erring drivers, we must all cooperate. All they have to do is to note or photograph the body number of the driver that can be seen on their uniform, in their motorcycle and their plate number,” she said.
For colorum or illegal vehicles, one could also note or take photo of the plate number only.
“At the moment, I am in the process of creating such page,” she said. (PNA)
