Dunkin’ Donuts Drops The Word ‘Donuts’ For Rebranding

“Dunkin’ means donuts. Always has, always will.” A lot of people online are now talking about the sudden name change of Dunkin’ Donuts. The company announced that starting in January, they will be known only as Dunkin’.

Yesterday, they went on Twitter to announce the big rebranding. They captioned the Tweet with, “It’s official: We’re going by Dunkin’ now. 🤗 After 68 years of America running on Dunkin’, we’re moving to a first-name basis. 🧡 Excited to be #BFFstatus with you all 👯☕️🍩 #firstnamebasis #besties”

Even if they will ditch the ‘Donut’ in the brands name, they will still focus on their breakfast pastry.

Dunkin’ Donuts is known to be an American global doughnut company & coffeehouse. It was founded in 1950 and has become one of the largest coffee and baked goods chain in the world with more than 12,000 restaurants in 36 countries.
