The Department of Transportation (DOTr) issues a statement in reponse to claims made by Angkas on loss of jobs for its riders, clarifying key points and emphasizing its mandate as a government agency to ensure the overall welfare of the motorcycle taxi-riding public as well as fair play in the industry in general.
