Just before the show’s worldwide premiere, stars of the highly anticipated GMA primetime soap “Destined To Be Yours”—the phenomenal love team of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza—join the celebration of the colorful Panagbenga Festival in Baguio, with the cast of the hit romantic comedy series “Meant To Be”.
Heading north on Saturday (Feb. 25) is Meant To Be’s Barbie Forteza together with her leading men Jak Roberto, Ivan Dorschner, Addy Raj, and Ken Chan. The stars of the top-rating primetime TV series will treat their supporters to an afternoon of kilig during the Kapuso Fans Day at Sunshine Park. Show starts at 3 p.m.
It will sure be a morning full of love and fun on Sunday (Feb. 26), as Alden and Maine (AlDub) banner the Kapuso Float during the much-celebrated Panagbenga Float Parade. Later that day, AlDub will be joined by their co-stars Koreen Medina and Juancho Trivino for a Kapuso Fiesta at Sunshine Park starting 10 a.m. Destined To Be Yours will have its pilot episode on Monday (Feb. 27) after Encantadia.
GMA TV 10 will have a live coverage of the Panagbenga Float Parade from 7 to 10 a.m. with Balitang Amianan’s CJ Torrida and Faye Centeno.
Kapuso fans down south are also in for a Sunday extravaganza as Ultimate Star Jennylyn Mercado will be gracing General Santos City’s Kalilangan Festival. Joining Jennylyn is her leading man in the local adaptation of “My Love from the Star”, new Kapuso actor Gil Cuerva. Jennylyn and Gil will be in KCC Mall in Gen San for a Kapuso Mall Show at 4 p.m.
GMA will also be in Tagum City in Davao del Norte on Tuesday (Feb. 28) for the celebration of Tagum City Musikahan Festival. Stars of upcoming teleserye “Impostora”, Kris Bernal and Rafael Rosell, will have a Kapuso Mall Show at NCCC Mall Tagum at 4 p.m.
Also on Tuesday, the cast of “Meant To Be” continues its series of regional shows as Barbie, Jak, Ivan, Addy, and Ken treat their fans to a Kapuso Fiesta in New City Hall, Tagum City. Show starts at 8 p.m.
