Valentine’s is not over yet as cable channel Jeepney TV features cherished love stories this February – ABS-CBN’s hit primetime drama “A Love To Last” and Korean series “Hyde, Jekyll, and Me” and “Love In The Moonlight.”
The series that gave birth to the TonDeng tandem – composed of Kapamilya stars Bea Alonzo and Ian Veneracion, “A Love To Last” is the journey of Anton and Andeng as they face heartbreaks caused by their previous partners and unexpectedly find a new love in each other.
“A Love To Last” is one of 2017’s biggest primetime series, reaching an all-time high national TV rating of 27.8%, according to data from Kantar Media.
Meanwhile, “Hyde, Jekyll, and Me” is about the journey of a heartless man Goo Seo-jin (Hyun Bin), struggling to find a cure for his dissociative identity disorder, and Hanna (Han Ji-min) who is on a mission to save a failing circus.
Seo-jin and Hanna’s inevitable encounter leads to a mystery where Hanna becomes a witness to a crime and Seo-jin will be compelled to protect her. Find out what will happen if Seo-jin’s alter ago, the gentle Robin, appears and makes Hanna fall in love with him.
One of the most successful and most watched series in Korea in 2016, “Love In The Moonlight,” continues airing on Jeepney TV this month. It is about the story of rebel prince Lee Yeong (Park Bo Gum) and Ra-On (Kim Yoo Jung), an ordinary girl willing to do everything even as far as pretending to be a man just to find her mother.
Catch “Hyde, Jekyll, and Me” on weekends starting this Saturday (February 17) at 8:30pm; “A Love To Last” Mondays thru Fridays, 8pm; and “Love In The Moonlight” Mondays thru Thursdays, 9pm. Also, “Meteor Garden” season 2 continues to spice up Jeepney TV’s weekday evenings at 7pm.
