Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 6 Finds New Home On NBC, Premiers Jan 10

Following Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s cancellation in Fox after five seasons, the show is coming back better than ever at its new home, NBC, on January 10, 2019.

At the end of season 5, Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumero) and Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) had a fabulous, impromptu wedding with the help of the Nine-Nine squad. Also, Captain Holt (Andre Brauer) has received an e-mail that contains the announcement for the new commissioner of the NYPD.

Fans are now looking forward to what comes next for the iconic couple, Peraltiago, as husband and wife in the precinct and what would change after knowing the result of Captain Holt’s run for commissioner. The crime-solving and quirky adventures of the rest of the squad including Charles Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio), Rosa Diaz (Stephanie Beatriz), Terry (Terry Cruz) and Gina (Chelsea Peretti) continues on its 6th season.

Although fans celebrate NBC’s resurrection of the show, they were devastated when Chelsea announced that she will be leaving the show. “I want to thank you for the hours you spent watching Gina be Gina,” she tweeted.

Meanwhile, trailers were released which are just as funny as the show as a sneak-peek on what to expect in the upcoming season.
