“Birds Of Prey” Teaser Poster Revealed

Filming already wrapped last April for the Harley Quinn-centered DC movie starring Margot Robbie (who is also credited as one of the movie’s producers) but so far any official news or updates from DC and Warner Bros. alike have been pretty, well to put it kindly, stagnant. Fans have been getting more impatient especially as Warner Bros. have also decided not to attend this year’s San Diego Comic Con where teasers are normally screened to awaiting fans.

But probably deciding not to keep all things to themselves, Warner Bros. has finally released the official teaser poster for the upcoming movie during their attendance in this year’s CineEurope convention held in Barcelona just this June. The poster, which is technically set on a plain black background, finally confirms the logo of the film as the title in bold white and pink stylized letters practically cover the entirety of the poster space.

Set after the events that happened in 2016’s “Suicide Squad”, a now-solo Harley Quinn crosses paths with a young girl named Cassandra Cain (played by Ella Jay Basco) who ends up being the target of Gotham crime lord Black Mask (played by Ewan McGregor) after coming across a diamond of his. Harley then partners up with the Black Canary (played by Jurnee Smollett-Bell), the Huntress (played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead) and Renee Montoya (played by Rosie Perez) as the all-female vigilante group make it their duty to protect the young girl.

“Birds of Prey” came from the DC comic series of the same name which primarily features the female superheroes set across the DC universe banding together against the evil forces terrorizing Gotham among other places.

The movie, fully titled “Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)” is set to be the first R-rated DC Extended Universe film and will be released on February 7th, 2020 in the United States.
