Asia’s Multimedia Star and ‘The Gift’ lead actor Alden Richards kicks off GMA Regional TV’s series of events all over the Philippines as he headlines this year’s celebration of Ati-Atihan Festival on January 16 (Thursday).

Joining Alden in a series of fun-filled activities are his co-stars from the hit Telebabad series—Martin del Rosario, Mikoy Morales, Ysabel Ortega, and Mikee Quintos.

The Gift cast gives Aklanons more reasons to celebrate “The Mother of All Philippine Festivals” as they banner the Kapuso Fiesta at the Pastrana Park at 5 pm.

The fun does not end here because at 10 pm, Alden and his The Gift co-stars are set to treat their fans via a Kapuso Meet and Greet at Magsaysay Park.

“2020 marks the 70th year of the Kapuso Network,” shares GMA Regional TV Vice President and Head Oliver Amoroso. “We want to celebrate this auspicious year with a series of activities for our loyal Kapuso in the regions beginning with the Ati-Atihan Festival. We are more than thrilled that we are bringing with us Asia’s Multimedia Star and ‘The Gift’ lead actor Alden Richards this year. We look forward to another successful Ati-Atihan Festival with Alden and the rest of The Gift cast,” he ends.

Directed by LA Madridejos, The Gift also stars Jean Garcia, Elizabeth Oropesa, Christian Vasquez, Betong Sumaya, Tetay, Luz Valdez, Victor Anastacio, and Jo Berry.
