9. Avoid people who are too attached
When you meet someone and you realize that you really like them, do a background check. If you start a relationship with a clingy person, make sure that it is not long term.
An attached person is more often than not looking for a fling and nothing lasting. Avoid a person that is willing to leave their current relationship to be with you. They definitely will leave you to be with someone else whenever that person comes along.
