The self-consciousness and insecurity discussed above sometimes translates into an ever-present anxiety; in this case, a “Fear Of Missing Out = fomo”. While it has already been said that the Gen Z mind is both indifferent and passionate, self-conscious and insecure, it is also too tired to get up at times: the Gen Z will make plans when he is feeling sociable, will not feel like going to those plans when they are supposed to happen, but will go anyway for fear of missing out.
