5. Are there more than one Black Nazarenes?
While a replica was used for its annual processions during the feast, the original image of the Black Nazarene resides inside Quiapo Church.
The Traslacion itself has been replicated in other parts of the country with their own versions of the Black Nazarene image, like in Cagayan de Oro and in Catarman, Northern Samar. Even the tradition was adapted internationally in Australia and the US.
